Event Description

The Japan–Rwanda Youth Cooperation (JRYC) is a long-standing youth exchange initiative established in 2005 to strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between Japanese and Rwandan university students. Through cultural exchange, academic dialogue, community engagement, and collaborative projects, JRYC has created lasting relationships between young leaders from both countries.
In 2026, the 24th JRYC Annual Conference will be proudly hosted in Kigali, Rwanda, bringing together students, young professionals, and cultural enthusiasts for an enriching experience of learning, collaboration, and discovery.
Participants will explore Rwanda’s culture, history, innovation, and community life while sharing ideas, experiences, and perspectives with their Japanese and Rwandan peers.
